CPCS A40 Slinger/Signaller (Slinger) is for those working in the lifting industry. The slinger's role includes guiding the movement of often heavy and/or large loads to different locations with accuracy and safety. The slinger must clearly and effectively communicate and signal to the crane or machine operator to ensure the safe, accurate and efficient lifting, moving, positioning, and lowering of the load. Slingers frequently have to act as the crane or plant operator’s eyes and ears when the operators can’t see the load or path of travel etc themselves.
