CPCS Excavator 360 Lifting Operations (Endorsement C)

Endorsement C allows the operator to use the excavator to lift and carry loads safely and effectively.

The lifting ops endorsement involves both a short theory and practical test.

There are 26 question for the theory test and preparation materials are sent out on booking.

The practical test includes:

• Complete pre-start and running checks. 

• Check machine and accessories certification is in date. 

• Agree signals to be used with slinger. 

• Follow slingers instructions and lift loads safely to various positions. 

• Complete blind lift with a load and travel around a route including a left or right turn. 

• Return loads back into position. 

• Park and secure machine.

 

The loads will be shown to you before starting the operation.

'Test only' is recommended for operators who:

• have at least 4-6 months operating experience.

• have an understanding and capability to site the machine safely and efficiently

• understand the capabilities, purposes and limitations of each machine.

• are able to follow all required safety precautions and procedures.

• are able to interpret, understand and use load charts and lift plans

• have knowledge and understanding of the legally required routine adjustments and safety checks with regard to lifting accessories.
