Excavator 360 Operators are always in demand and we offer courses for complete novices through to experienced operators who need the CPCS card to start or progress their career. The CPCS A59A category gives you the ticket to operate tracked machines above and below 10 tonnes whilst the CPCS A58A category gives you the ticket to operate tracked machines below 10 tonnes only.

On passing the course you will have achieved the CPCS Trained Operator (red) card, which demonstrates that you have been trained to operate the machine safely and efficiently. CPCS is the most widely recognised construction card in the UK and the benchmark standard for most large construction sites.

If you already hold the 'Red' card we can advise on how to get your Competent Operator or 'Blue' card and for 'Blue' card holders we can advise on renewing.

The length of the course depends on the experience of the candidate. Free assessment sessions are available if you are unsure which course is for you. Get in touch to book.

The experienced operator course is delivered over two days and is aimed at the operator who has industry experience but now needs the card to prove that. It includes a theory prep session and then the test day.

The Experienced Plus/Refresher course is for the experienced operator that would also like some practical/refresher training. It includes a theory prep session and a practical training session as well as the tests. This is delivered over either two or three days depending on the number of attendees.

We also offer an intermediate or novice course, which are both delivered over a 5-day period and a foundation 7-day course. The difference between these courses is the number of practical training sessions (three on the intermediate-day, 3 and a half on the novice and five on the foundation). The theory prep session is on the first day and the tests are on the last day. Bespoke longer courses are available on request.
